Fingerprint Biometric Solution

A New compact and advance biometric fingerprint solution can be provided by Globaltec. Solution is formed by Trilobytetech SIB8108 and Fujitsu MBF200 fingerprint sensor.

Trilobytetech SIB8108 comes with its own sophisticated and tested authenication alogorithm firmware with built in ROM, Flash, RAM, PIO,I2C in one single chip which give customer great flexibility to design their own applicaton.

SIB8108 can work standalone and customer can apply SIB8108 to their end products very easily without long time development. SIB8108 has options to let customer building their own plugin to fully use its own resources to meet their specified application and save cost on applying external peripheral components.

SIB8108 is designed with low power consumption and power management feature that makes it can apply to battery-operate application. No license fee for applying SIB8108.

The Fujitsu MBF200 new solid-state fingerprint sensor features a 256 x 300 pixel sensor array that produces clear 500 DPI resolution fingerprint images. The sensor area, which is approximately 1.28cm x 1.5cmon , features an ultra-hard, patented, scratchproof protective coating, two-stage 8-bit A/D converter, offers three interfaces: an 8-bit microprocessor bus, Serial Peripheral Interface and USB interface.

The sensor's operating from 3.3V to 5.0V, very low operating and standby power consumption of 100mW and 165uW, respectively. Also includes an Automatic Finger Detect (AFD) circuit that will generate a finger-detect interrupt to CPU when a finger is placed on the sensor so that CPU can reduce overhead without continually polling the sensor.
